We started by using a herb garden layout from a hortus we visited and layered our work by mixing our paintings and projections. Marjolein made all the paintings and the large projection drawing on the Tumbleweed.
Since March this year we have been visiting 'Hortussen' in the Netherlands. We made a lot of photos and this exhibition was a result of those walks together.
We were both surprised how the layering of our works created such interesting images. We agreed that the objects and paintings were enhanced by the collaboration.
