Artist Marcus Coates invited artists to participate in a two-day masterclass, developing costumes & objects and working on a ritual to celebrate the departure of winter. We marched for two hours Friday night 27 January 2017 in the streets of Utrecht and stopped where we found small crowds. Our objective was to imagine ourselves as strangers from another place but earth. Our purpose: To find out from the spectators what it meant to be human. We failed out mission, but had a lot of fun in the process. Event organised by Public Works, Utrecht.
